Nancy's Fancy Hats etc is located in Southeast Texas, close to the famous Spindletop oil strike of 1901. Nearby flows the Sabine river, which used to carry Paddlewheel boats bearing passengers, lumber, and cotton to the Gulf of Mexico. Riverboat gamblers made famous in Hollywood movies used to travel on these boats. Some of our hats' designs are influenced by the Riverboat era, as well as cowboys working in Southeast Texas today.
